About our privacy policy

Purevo highly values your privacy. Therefore, we process only data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services of Purevo made available thereon. The effective date for the validity of these terms is 01/04/2025. With the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what data about you is collected by us, what this data is used for, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you have provided to us.

Webshop software

Our webshop is developed using software from Shopify. Personal data that you provide to us for the purpose of our services is shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have concluded with them, Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures.

Web hosting

Our website and email services are hosted via Shopify. Shopify processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. This party may collect metadata regarding the use of the services, which is not personal data. Shopify has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data.

Email and mailing lists

Our website uses Klaviyo, a third party that handles email traffic originating from our website and the sending of newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website are sent via Klaviyo. Klaviyo will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website, you will find the unsubscribe link. If you click on this, you will no longer receive emails from our website. Your personal data is stored securely by Klaviyo.

Payment processors

To process payments in our webshop, we use Shopify Payments. Shopify Payments processes your name, address, and place of residence details, as well as your payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Shopify Payments has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Shopify Payments does not retain your data longer than permitted by statutory retention periods.

Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay.

Reviews

We collect reviews via Trustpilot. If you leave a review via Trustpilot, you are required to provide a name and email address. Trustpilot shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. Trustpilot also publishes your name on its own website. Trustpilot has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.

Shipping and logistics

Australia Post

When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of Australia Post to carry out deliveries. To do so, it is necessary for us to share your name, address, and city details with Australia Post. Australia Post uses this data solely for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. In the event that Australia Post engages subcontractors, Australia Post will also make your data available to these parties.

DHL

When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to carry out deliveries. To do so, it is necessary for us to share your name, address, and city details with DHL. DHL uses this data solely for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. In the event that DHL engages subcontractors, DHL will also make your data available to these parties.

Invoicing and bookkeeping

We use accounting software to maintain our administration. We share your name, address, and place of residence details, as well as details regarding your order. This data is used for the administration of sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely and will not be used for purposes other than those described above.

Retention periods

We retain your data for as long as you are a customer of ours. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also interpret this as a request to be forgotten. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data; we will therefore retain this data for the duration of the applicable period. However, employees will no longer have access to your customer profile and documents that we have created in connection with your order.

Your rights
